Lash Extensions
Special Instructions

   *  Lash Extensions are for professional use only. At home use or use by non-professionals may result in damage to eyes or loss of vision.

   * Clients must wash eye area with mild cleanser prior to application. Use of eye makeup removers containing P.E.G. (polyethylene glycol), propylene glycol, or any other glycol-based ingredients will result in failure of lashes to bond.

   * Clients may use NON-waterproof mascara ONLY on Lashes. Use of waterproof mascara will cause lashes to come loose. Repeated use of even water soluble mascara may shorten the life of the lashes.

   * Use eye creams sparingly and avoid lash/lid area. Careless use of eye creams and moisturizers can result in a shorter life span for NovaLash Lashes.

Frequently Asked Questions

What are Eyelash Extensions?

Eyelash Extensions are a totally new way to extend the length and thickness of your eyelashes. They are applied on a hair-by-hair basis to your own lashes for a totally natural look.

How long do they last?

Lashes can last up to 6 weeks or more. Touch-ups are recommended after initial full set application to replace any lashes that might have fallen off. Lashes will last for the length of the natural growth cycle of each eyelash hair.

When will I need a Lash Extension Touch Up Appointment?

Eyelash Extensions remain for the full cycle of your existing lashes, generally lasting up to two months or more. The life cycle of natural lashes may vary per individual, and factors such as temperature and moisture can affect the duration; we recommend touch-up appointments every two to three weeks to keep up with the natural growth and shedding of your lashes.

How do I care for my Lash Extensions?

You can wear extensions without hesitation. You can shower, swim or even or even spa while wearing them. However, it is important to keep them dry for 48 hours immediately following the application. Avoid rubbing eyes that are not specially formulated for eyelash extensions, particularly creams containing oils that will cause them to fall off prematurely. Care must be taken to apply eye cream sparingly with avoidance of the lash line area.

Can I add mascara to Lash Extensions?

Water soluble mascara can be worn; however constant use of mascara may shorten the life-span of your lashes. WATERPROOF MASCARA IS NOT RECOMMENDED FOR USE AS IT WILL DISSOLVE THE BOND WITH THE LASHES.

How long does the procedure take?

A full set may take up to two hours. Touch-ups usually require less time depending on the condition of your previous application and lapse since your last visit.

How much do Lashes cost?

The cost of a full set of lashes may range from $175 to $375. Touch-Up's start at $45. Price of Touch-Up's depend on your natural growth cycle.

Who can apply NovaLash Eyelash Extensions?

A licensed cosmetologist, aesthetician, makeup technician or beautician can provide lash extension services. The technician applying your lash extensions must be fully trained and certified.

Where was Blush Certified?

Blush was certified by NovaLash. And uses NovaLash products. Blush keeps up to date with training's on new techniques to provide our clients with the best possible service.

NovaLash is the ONLY lash extension product that is:
•AEWCA-approved
•American made – Pharmaceutical grade
•Physician-formulated
•Made in the USA in accordance with FDA recommendations   for formaldehyde content
NovaLash eyelash extensions are an entirely new method of enhancing the length and thickness of eyelashes. Extensions are applied on a lash-by-lash basis for a totally natural look. When properly applied, NovaLash eyelash extensions can last from up to six to eight weeks.
All competing brands of lash extension adhesives tested by the AEWCA were found to contain toxic and carcinogenic irritants such as formaldehyde. Many untested industrial-grade adhesives (commonly used in auto manufacturing) enter the US and European market through China and Korea. These Asian-produced adhesives are branded in the US and marketed as "American" brands.
Because the eye area is one of the most sensitive parts of the body, the NovaLash team of physicians and scientists formulated the first formaldehyde-free, medical-grade lash extension adhesive (patent pending).
